Note: The class is held in big cafeteria. Refund will be provided upon class cancellation due to school events.

Class Description:

The "core" region is the center of your body, the area between your bottom ribs and the top of your pubic bone, also called your powerhouse. It includes the abdominal, the pelvic floor, the muscles around the hip joint, and the muscles of the lower back. For many, the powerhouse area of the body is also thought to be the energetic center of the body. These muscle groups are critical for the transfer of energy from large to small body parts during many sporting activities, and provide a solid foundation for movement in both the daily movement and the extremities. The core training class will apply many popular modern core training techniques in a fun interactive group setting. It aims to target all these muscle groups, shape your body and build your strength and resillency. You will feel leaner, fitter and stronger.

Below is how the 50 min workout breakdown:
Warm up: 5 min
Aerobics exercise (or Stretch) 10 min
Abdominal exercises focusing on hard to targeting lower abdominal muscle: 15 min
Back muscle, Buttocks, Leg, Arms training: 15 min
Cool Down: 5 min

Class Instructor: Ally Li

Mother of two energetic young boys and a software engineer, Ally is an advocate of healthy living and a big lover of yoga, aerobics, and dancing exercise. She is an active member of local amateur dance troupe, has choreographed and participated in performances and worshops at various culture events around Boston. She taught aerobic classes in CCLS and her work place. Ally had practiced yoga for ten years. She is a certified and registered yoga instructor in North America yoga alliance. She had taught classes in corporate, community education center, schools and etc. Yoga is a life time passion and learning journey for her and she wants to share the fun and benefit of yoga with more friends in local community. It has been the forth year since she first introduced Yoga class in ACLS. Serving the community is a great satisfaction for her.
